Former Shimizu execs get suspended terms for bribery

TOKYO, - Teruzo Yoshino (R), former chairman, and Hiroyuki Koyama, former vice chairman, of Shimizu Corp. walk down to the Tokyo District Court on Sept. 12 to attend their trial. The court sentenced them and another former Shimizu executive to suspended jail terms for giving 10 million yen in bribes to the Ibaraki governor in 1992. The three defendants appealed the ruling later.
